O'Donnell Moonshine (350ml)

Almost a hundred years ago, Prohibition (1919-1933) was in force in the USA: the production and sale of alcohol was forbidden.

An epoch of secrecy began. The farmers moonshine their moonshine-distilled liquor, which they filled into mason jars and then sold on to smugglers, the so-called "bootleggers". The preserving jars were a precautionary measure because buying bottles quickly made one suspicious of being a bootlegger.

O'Donnell Moonshine is available in six variants: in addition to the pure, soft, barrel-matured Kornbrand ' Original ' (38% vol.), there are the liqueurs ' Baked Apple ' (20% vol.) with natural apple juice, cinnamon and vanilla, and ' Bitter Rose' ' (25% vol.), a mixture of grapefruit, rosehip and black elder, plump cherry 20% vol. (Cherry, vanilla note), toffee ( 25% vol.) , caramel in its very best form: as a schnapps! The fine melted sugar unfolds an incomparable taste, the 'hard nut ( 25% vol.) ' with a pithy hazelnut and a sweet note of caramel. Our purest variety so far ' High Proof ' (50% vol.). is a triple distilled and filtered wheat-based moonshine with 50% vol. that goes back to the roots of moonshine. In terms of taste, the 'High Proof' combines the American moonshine tradition with the art of German distilling and is characterized by a crystal-clear taste and consistent sharpness.
